
Welcome to Ilmatar, a land filled with magic, war, friendship and betrayl. Ilmatar holds four kingdoms- Zephyr, Tirzah, Gilead, and Emtindra. Ilmatar features, at this time, four primary kingdoms--Zephyr, Emtindra, Tirzah and Gilead. There are a number of playable races that are also available for player customization. These include humans, elves, dwarves, faeries, merfolk, dragons and player created races, such as the Tindra and Ahj. Additionally, characters have the option of being users of Spoken magic, called Mages, or may belong to the Druids, who practice Elemental or Druidic magic. There are various positions open, from royalty and soldiers to thieves and bounty hunters.

The Plot

All across the four Kingdoms, the mystical power of the Relics is fading with each and every victory of King Sieran Jskaveri. His armies march across the lands in force, a vast militant collection the likes of which has not been seen by the kingdoms of Zephyr, Tirzah and Emtindra in centuries of peace. Gilead's army has only one goal: to destroy the Relics, and banish magic from Ilmatar forever.
With each loss of the Relics, the druids and mages of Ilmatar become weaker. Week by week, day by day, the casters grow vulnerable to the bounty hunters issued by Gilead's king to slay or capture anyone thought to hold even a touch of magical power. In fear and defiance, druids and mages bond together, alongside non-caster allies. They gather beneath the once-secret banner of the Relic Society, an underground organization of spellcasters oathbound to oppose King Jskaveri.
As the Gileadian army continues to search for and destroy the Relics, the Relic Society pool their limited resources in opposition, doing all they can to prevent the king's ultimate goal. Small contingents of Society ambassadors are sent to the rulers of Zephyr, Tirzah and Emtindra to petition their support and militant might against Gilead. Yet others are assigned the incredibly dangerous task of rescuing and recruiting the druids and mages scattered about Ilmatar's kingdoms. And finally, the main force of the Relic Society sets out to halt the seemingly unstoppable tide of Gilead's army: they are the Relic Protectors. They must do the impossible, and stop the destruction of Relics.
Spring has arrived after the long and bitter winter. Will the Relic Society members survive to see summer's end?
